Exciting new product called the Fit Right gate in a box. Now, when building a fence gate, it's very important that it fits exactly, otherwise your gate isn't going to function or latch properly. If you're not able to, to space the posts out correctly due to underground obstructions. Well, if that's the case, the Fit Right assembly is for you. Everything you need is right here in the box: steel frame, wire and all your fittings. Now it's important to know that the Fit Right assembly is made for a 72 inch opening. It's also important to know how to measure it correctly. So we measure from inside fence posts to inside fence posts. I'm at 63 and a half inches, so that means I'll need a soft eight and a half inches for it to fit appropriately. Okay. So I went ahead and marked off my eight and a half inches off both the top and bottom spreader bar. Now I'm going to take a Hacksaw and saw that eight and a half inches.
We're now going to assemble the latch side vertical with the hinge side vertical, for the top and bottom spreader bars. There are four set screws applied one for each corner. Now let's go ahead and install the diagonal trust. Now let's put on the chain link mesh. Here's something you probably haven't seen before. We're going to go ahead and take off the excess chain link fence. The next step is really easy. All we do is we insert the gate rods and attach them to the frame. Let's tie the top of the chain to the top rail and the bottom chain to the bottom rail. And the gate is complete. What, we're all finished.
Total build time less than one hour. Now, remember talk to your home center professional about all the adjusted gate options available in chain link, wood, vinyl, and composite.
Well, that's it for now. Remember what they say? A good fence makes a good neighbor, until next time.
